Material seems pretty windproof but not 100% (which is a good think IMO to allow the legs to breathe), I doubt the material is waterproof but would probably be OK through a shower dependant upon DWR finish. Overall quite happy with the purchase & should keep me warm walking through the snow.

Sizing is accurate to the provided chart. Fits well and sits comfortably, but note that the waist is a bit high. Button fly is actually a latch. Lots of loose strings on the inside of the pants, but all seem to be additional strings not actually related to structural stitching and are easily removed. The pants feel reasonably warm in chilly weather. Zippered pockets are great so things don't fall out, but they're not very deep - fits my phone in length but not much else. Water resistance is adequate and splashes of water will run off, but if standing in prolonged rain, will likely soak through given enough time. 100% polyester and hand wash is recommended, but will likely be fine in delicate/gentle machine wash.
